Congratulations! You did it! You booked your boudoir session!
*If you haven’t yet you can do so here* Now I know the nerves are either high or you’re really excited! Either way, here are some tips to get you to your session!
Step One: The Styling Consultation
If you are working with me, chances are we already set up this consultation. If you’re not working with me, no biggie! As your photographer if they do a styling consult.
Now what is a styling consultation and why do you need it for your boudoir session?
I use styling consultations to help plan your boudoir session from the hair and makeup to the vibe of the session and your outfits. This is entirely tailored to you and I want to make sure we get what you envisioned and you feel amazing while we do it.
I always instruct my girls to start a Pinterest board with outfit ideas they like, session themes, hair and makeup and poses they are drawn to.
We schedule your phone call or a time for coffee and we get to planning together!
Step two: Your session day
A girl can respect herself and still take booty pics.
After you book with me you immediately get a welcome guide that has session prep in it as well. It walks you through what to do the week before your session, the day before and the day of. Also leading up to your date you get a questionnaire that has a bunch of questions about you!
When you arrive to your session this is where the pampering begins. You get your favorite snacks and drinks, while we work on your hair and makeup and listen to your favorite songs! (I curate a playlist for each of my clients). Your outfits get laid out and everything is made as simple as possible. I walk you through the posing, we laugh at my crazy ideas that pop up mid session. It’s a great time!
After your session, I have a massage appointment set up for you to go and wind down and relax after the workout you will get (please take your Tylenol, you will be sore).

Step Three: Your viewing/ordering appointment
Your ordering appointment takes place 2-5 days after your session. This is where we go through your images together and pick out the ones you love for your album or your package (which ever product you picked). This is also where you can order additional items as well.
You get more snacks, we go through your images and we get everything finalized. *Your images are in a soft edit at this point and are not fully edited.*
Step Four: Product Delivery!!
Guess what girl!! Your products are being delivered! Expect your products to be in your hands at a maximum of 6 weeks after your ordering appointment. It all depends on what you order and my printing lab but you will not have to wait longer than 6 weeks for your products, if you ever do I will communicate that with you ASAP.
